Risa Horiuchi is an illustrator of picture books. She studied illustration at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She is inspired by the work of Patrick McDonnell, Charlotte Voake, Bill Watterson and Jenni Desmond. Her upcoming book, K is For Kindness, written by her sister Rina Horiuchi, will be out in April, 2022. She has also illustrated for Highlights Magazine and the book Malty the Blue Tiger by K. Kloss.
